Wool Blanket
Wool Blanket
Couldn't load pickup availability
A substantial wool blanket, woven in Minnesota by Faribault Mill from Rocky Mountain Rambouillet and Merino wools.
The wool is graded 64s in the Bradford Count system, meaning it comes from an exceptionally fine fleece, roughly 20 microns, with the softness and refinement expected of premium merino, but with the weight and usefulness of a real blanket.
Faribault is one of the few American mills still handling the full woolen process under one roof. The wool is selected and inspected, carded to clean and align the fibers, spun into yarn, woven, and finished for softness, stability, and long-term use. Each blanket moves through more than 20 steps over roughly 10 days.
The result is warm without feeling sealed in, breathable as the room changes, and naturally resilient enough for everyday use over many years. It is dense, soft, and substantial, with the practical character of a traditional wool blanket.
Available in Queen and King sizes.

Made by Faribault Mills in Faribault, Minnesota
Founded in 1865, Faribault is believed to be one of four remaining fully operational woolen mills in America. They are devoted to creating timeless American-made goods using century-old machines and techniques carried forward by fifth-generation craftspeople.

Frequently Asked Questions
How should I wash/dry the blanket?
Dry Clean Only!
Does the Heirloom Warranty apply to the blanket?
Unfortunately it does not. Practically, repairing blankets is unrealistic for Roseland and Faribault.
What is the return policy for the Flat Weave blanket?
We accept returns within 30 days of when your order arrives. Blankets that have been used, washed or damaged are not eligible for return or exchange.
How does exposure to sunlight or prolonged use affect the natural fiber’s longevity?
Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause yellowing to the white color and fading to natural cotton or dyed cotton.
What’s the process for removing stains?
Tips:
- Remove the stain as soon as possible.
- Heat sets stains, making them harder to remove. Avoid running your blanket through the dryer until the stain has been removed.
Technique:
- Pour small amount of bleach alternative (we recommend Tide plus bleach alternative) over the affected area.
- Rinse with cold water while rubbing.
- Repeat if needed.
- Launder normally (see above).
How much shrinkage can I expect if I wash my bedspread or coverlet?
Our products are preshrunk. You can expect no more than 2% shrinkage, if any.
